DailyBible ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Data Collection
The App does not require account registration or login. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Content you create in the App (bookmarks, highlights, notes, study progress, etc.) is stored only in:
- Your device locally (encrypted with AES-256-GCM)
- Your personal iCloud account (subscribers only, for cross-device sync)
Custom names on completion certificates are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to any server.
Advertising Tracking & Analytics
With your consent, the App accesses your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance. If you decline, your IDFA will not be accessed and ads will be shown in a non-personalized manner.
The App integrates the following analytics services:
- Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data (such as feature usage frequency and crash reports) that does not contain personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the App experience.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports to help us fix issues.
2. Payment Information
All subscription payments are processed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase (IAP) system. We never receive, process, or store any payment information, including but not limited to credit card numbers, billing addresses, or other financial data. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

We do not operate our own servers and do not upload your personal data to any services other than Apple iCloud and the third-party SDKs described above.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob respects your ATT authorization status when determining whether to serve personalized ads. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics: Used to collect anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the App. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit: Used to process in-app subscription purchases.
- Apple CloudKit: Used for iCloud data sync (subscribers only).
We do not share your data with any third parties other than those listed above.
5. Data Encryption
Sensitive user data stored on your device (such as note content) is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption via Apple's CryptoKit framework. Encryption keys are securely stored in the iOS Keychain, which is protected by the device's hardware security.
6. Your Rights
- Clear Data: Clear all local data through Settings > Data Management > Clear All Data, including bookmarks, highlights, notes, study progress, downloaded translations, and encryption keys.
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the App will automatically remove all locally stored data.
- iCloud Data: Can be managed through your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud.
- Ad Tracking: Can be changed at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
7. Children's Privacy
This App does not knowingly collect any information from children. The App contains Bible content suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use. If you are under the age required by applicable law, please use this App under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
8. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
